This newer chocolate Rocoto has deep chocolate pods with great flavour and heat. Plants grow fast and can get very large if not pruned. Plants can have branches that can be up to 5 feet long. We like to grow them in hanging baskets if not you have to support the branches. Pods are hard to get off the plants but will come off when ripe. This variety has the first ripened pods very year making it a great pick it also has medium sized pods which helps to have higher yields then others with larger pods
