This variety is a real eye catcher with pods that start out black and ripen to a mix of black and red with some ripening to all red. Making this variety a great ornamental. Plants grow medium to large with very high yields of mild heated pods. Pods are thin walled and dry out good to make powder and if pods are picked when black you can have a very nice black powder. Pods are simular to purple Serrano
