This is a sone what newer variety with very good flavor pods great for powder making. Plants are medium to large but pruning will take care of that and then you will have a very bush excellent yielding plant. Pods start out black/green or purple/green before ripening to a nice red . Pods are thin walled and dry out easy. They have very good taste and are great fresh or dried. Plants are dark but not black with beautiful all purple flowers
