This is a great looking variety with dark chocolate/black pods with white and purple flowers. Plants can grow Quite high if not pruned early just like it’s Cousins the red and orange Thai. Pods start out dark green and can be used as soon as they are big enough to pick. but will get hotter and sweeter if left to fully ripen to the dark chocolate/Black depending on growing conditions. Pods have good flavor and make very good dark coloured powder.
