This is A very good variety from Hawaii a Tabasco type pepper with good heat and very good flavor. Plus it has much better yielding plants. It has Kona in the name for just that reason this is one big plants with very high yield and  if given the room to grow  it can be 5-6 feet high and 3-4 feet around. Plants can be controlled if you are tight on space be pruning . Pods start out lite green and ripen to red and have the same texture as the Tabasco pepper and is great for sauces as this is a Fermenting pepper. Pods can be picked green and used it salads or cooking when green
