This is said to be a old heirloom variety it looks very similar to chocolate Cherry pepper but they are not the same. The chocolate cherry pepper has upright growing pods where this one has downward growing pods that are almost double the size. Plants are medium to large growing the same as a bell pepper plant does expect plants have much better yields. You could pick 20-40 plus pods off a good plant. Pods are very sweet with great flavor and no heat. Pods are thick walled and juicy thus us a must grow variety. You can also use this variety to make a chocolate coloured base powder that is great for mixing
